Pre-Purchase Survey

Pre-Purchase surveys are conducted prior to the purchase of building to determine the amount of possible ACBM within. This may protect the new owner’s liability and budget any related future costs of asbestos management or abatement.

This type of survey is often performed visually and Corwin Inspections relies experience to presume material with a high likelihood of being asbestos containing.  With the current owners permission Corwin Inspections may collect a number of bulk samples from inconspicuous locations to determine asbestos content.

Pre-Market Survey

Pre-Market surveys are performed in much the same way as Pre-Purchase surveys,  but bulk samples, from inconspicuous locations, are always collected. These surveys are used to help determine market value.
